About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Kealakekua, Hawaii. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, offering 12-hour shifts during days, evenings, or nights. The position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with emergency room experience, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment at a 94-bed full-service acute care hospital. The facility offers 24-hour emergency services and has served the West Hawaii community for over 100 years, emphasizing a culture of belonging, compassion, and connection.
Kona, located on the west side of the island of Hawaiʻi, is known for its sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and historic sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for patient documentation.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Experience in emergency room settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- One reference from entire work history.
Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are a plus.
Pay
Pay rate: $2,350.00 - $2,495.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
