Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,415 per week

About the Role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting (ED specialty)
• Allied health experience: 6 months
• Current state nursing license
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
• Degree from an accredited school
• Ability to communicate clearly – read, write, speak, and understand English
• Adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies

Pay

Minimum pay rate: $64.50 per hour; maximum pay rate: $67.08 per hour.
