About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. Contract position with 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and every other weekend off. Float between Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, and Charge Nurse roles as needed in a 25-bed critical access facility serving up to 350 patients per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Float between Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, and Charge Nurse roles as needed
• Perform multifaceted nursing duties requiring flexibility across departments
• Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records
• Participate in orientation scheduled exclusively on Tuesdays

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room, Med-Surg, or Charge Nurse roles
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA, ARC, or ENPC)
• TNCC certification

Preferred Skills

• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification
• SANE certification
• Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital setting
