Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,387 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions (HWS) partners with Lifepoint Health to provide travel nursing opportunities across a nationwide network of caring, inclusive facilities. This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville, 320 Hospital Drive, Martinsville, VA 24112.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Demonstrated adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (read, write, speak, understand).
• RN with at least 1 year in Emergency Department specialty (or 6 months allied experience).

Pay

Minimum Pay Rate: $63.75 per hour
Maximum Pay Rate: $66.30 per hour

Schedule

13‑week assignment (options for 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility need).
36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
