About the role
Emergency Room Nurse position available in Quincy, Illinois. This role involves working in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a high patient volume, providing acute care to a diverse patient population. The clinician will be responsible for delivering critical emergency services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care in a high-volume Level 2 Trauma Center
- Deliver critical emergency services in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POD nursing for assignments
- Work in a facility with 30 beds, including 3 ED psych beds, treating approximately 120 patients daily
Requirements
- Active ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Illinois nursing license
- BSN required
- Ability to start ASAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center
- Experience with EPIC charting system
Additional Information
4 hours of billable computer modules are required the Friday prior to start; modules are delivered Monday-Tuesday of the week prior to start. Immediate start needed.
