Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,335 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room Nurse in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a comprehensive team. The role requires clinicians to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment that treats between 140 and 180 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients
• Support the rapid response team
• Assist with various clinical tasks such as drawing labs and troubleshooting respiratory equipment

Required Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a nurse
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, with some day shifts as needed. Shifts typically range from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• All shifts are 12 hours.
• Every other weekend and holiday work required.
• No on-call, but occasional standby may occur.

Additional Information

• The ER department is a 38-bed unit with adult and pediatric trauma capabilities, including 5 trauma bays and a combined emergency and urgent care setting.
• Orientation consists of three days, including computer-based training and on-unit preceptorship, with all clinicians required to clock in and out at the facility.
