Travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department position at John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Virginia. Start date 10/05/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, employment type Travel. Specialty: Emergency Department, Discipline: RN. Unit: ER, 22 beds (with vertical space for additional patients), approx. 50 staff; day shift – 1 charge nurse, 5‑6 nurses, 1 tech, 1 medic; night shift – 1 charge nurse, 5‑6 nurses, 1 secretary, 1 tech/medic. Patient ratio 1:4. Equipment includes Phillips & GE Monitors and a Level 1 Rapid Infuser; EMR is Meditech (EDM). Location: 411 W. Randolph Road, Hopewell, VA 23860. Floating area: potential to the FSED (~15 minutes away). Dress code: teal top with black or teal bottoms. Weekend policy: every other weekend, at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday in a 4‑week schedule; no on‑call required.

- Cardiac arrests
- IV insertions, EKG’s, etc. (basic ER skills)
- Pacemaker interrogation
- Code Stroke protocol
- Code Sepsis protocol
- Suture/abscess set up
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
