About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage and assess patients in the Emergency Department setting.
- Initiate and manage IV start, EKG, trauma, cardiac, and stroke procedures as needed.
- Assist with patient transport and documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience working in an ER is required.
- NICHES certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
