Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,308 per week

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, evenings and nights (variable, mostly nights & evenings)
• 3 shifts per week
• On-call and floating may be required based on department needs

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS – Required
• PALS – Required
• NRP – Required (as appropriate for the unit)
• Previous Emergency Department RN experience preferred
• Strong skills in patient assessment, nursing care, health teaching, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and emergency patient management
• Must be willing to float to other units within scope of practice if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with state nursing standards
• Perform nursing and delegated medical functions
• Monitor treatment plans
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Document care accurately
• Coordinate referrals
• Respond to emergency situations
• Float to other departments within competency as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage as required
• Support high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
