Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, evenings and nights
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Mid-Shift: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- No on-call required
- Block scheduling not offered
Responsibilities
- Rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of patients
- Emergency medication administration
- Critical documentation
- Interdisciplinary care coordination in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency environment
- Handle high-acuity trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general emergency admissions
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department (ER) RN experience in an acute care setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (ADN/ASN not accepted)
- Active Michigan RN license
- Direct phone interview with the nurse manager
Certifications
- AHA BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) strongly preferred
