Froedtert Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in West Bend, Wisconsin. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research and education.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.
Responsibilities
The position aligns with the essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010). Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment is required.
Requirements
- 2 years of RN - ED/Trauma experience
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire
Qualifications
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing, qualifying for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
13 weeks Nights 1900-0730, Every 4th weekend (Sundays not considered weekend for nights)
