Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide experience and skill caring for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent, emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations; advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries; plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history; check for patient allergies; obtain vital signs; monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care; clean and bandage wounds; administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
