About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality emergency care across all age groups in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. This position involves rotating night and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure comprehensive patient coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
- Manage complex diagnoses in a busy ED setting with a patient ratio of 1:4 (up to 5 with lower acuity)
- Float within ED specialty and sister facilities as needed
- Work rotating night/evening shifts (19:00-07:30 / 15:00-03:30) for a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Accept 3x12 or 4x12 shifts
Requirements
- Active RN license in MD or a Compact state
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
- CPI certification (completed during onboarding)
- Valid MD state license
- 2 years of ER experience
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- Submit compliance documents within 5 days of signing the contract
- Complete onboarding labs within 72 hours
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, nights
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating night/evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
