Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,250 per week

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in an Emergency Department setting, including assessments, interventions, medication administration, and patient education. The position emphasizes safety, documentation accuracy, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, plans, and evaluates nursing interventions per established standards of care and protocols.
• Perform thorough documentation and ensure continuity of care through effective communication with team members.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies safely.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage airway issues including intubation.
• Respond to patient safety risks, manage violent or at-risk patients, and report incidents as required.
• Maintain knowledge of disaster procedures and ensure compliance with safety and safety-related policies.
• Demonstrate proficiency with laboratory and diagnostic results.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience, with 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (preferred).
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (preferred).
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification (preferred).

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Duration: 13 weeks, starting 09/07/2026.
