About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Effingham, Illinois. The assignment begins October 5, 2026, lasts 15 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
- Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required for some positions.
- Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care Emergency Room setting.
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Weekly payment estimates are provided for informational purposes only and include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
