This role involves providing acute emergency care with a focus on trauma, stroke, sepsis, and chest pain management. The position requires quick decision-making and clinical expertise to ensure patient safety and effective treatment. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week with weekends and holidays (see notes). Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room experience. Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC). Additional Information: Charting is performed through MEDITECH Expanse. Candidates should be comfortable reading telemetry strips. The ER handles common diagnoses such as trauma, sepsis, stroke, chest pain, and abdominal pain, with common drips including Diltiazem, Heparin, Insulin, Propofol, Cleviprex, Levophed, and Amiodarone. Schedule requests are managed via a scheduler and reviewed by management. The agency maintains a cancellation policy of one shift per four weeks, with OT shifts subject to cancellation at will.
