This position demands strong Emergency Department skills along with a commitment to outstanding customer service and teamwork. The department operates in a fast-paced environment with a high admission rate, providing care primarily to adult patients. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments and provide care for patients in a high-acuity emergency setting. Manage and implement treatment plans for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Respiratory diseases. Maintain a nurse-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Participate in department initiatives focused on enhancing patient care and improving outcomes. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Emergency Department nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS required Line Management Skills: Proficient in IV insertion; PICC/Central Line management. Cardiac Skills: Ability to perform 12 Lead EKGs, telemonitoring interpretation, and cardioversion/defibrillation. Airway Skills: Competence in procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and tracheostomy care. Behavioral Health Skills: Experience with chemical dependency is preferred.
