Responsibilities
- 12-hour day/night rotation shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- On-call requirement of 12 hours in a 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
- Call back minimum of 2 hours
- May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
- RNs are responsible for drawing labs and performing nebulizer treatments
- Work in an 18-bed Trauma Level II unit that is stroke certified and covers cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases
- Fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse
- X-ray staff and respiratory therapy on site in the emergency department
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 3-6 months of prior travel experience (firm requirement)
- Trauma Level II experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Pyxis medication dispenser experience required
- Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
- Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred
