This assignment involves working in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department and offers a valuable opportunity to enhance a professional's resume. The role requires flexibility, including floating to different areas within the department, and is suitable for experienced ER nurses seeking a short-term contract. Job Details: Location: Gainesville, Florida Shift Details: 12-Hour Nights (19000730) Schedule: 36 hours per week, variable days, weekends, and holidays Position Highlights: One of the highest-volume Emergency Departments nationally, traveler-friendly environment, prestigious academic medical center experience, and flexibility to float is essential. Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience; recent 12 months must include assignments at an academic medical center or Level I/II trauma center; recent travel nursing experience; Florida RN licensure or Compact RN License at submission; BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications. Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification; recent EPIC electronic medical record experience. Additional Information: No employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation; minimum of 1 professional reference within the last 12 months; successful completion of specialty-specific competence and EKG exams with at least 80% score; identification of lethal rhythms required. Travel & Float: Travel required; float rotation may be necessary, but float is not required. Start Date: 09/08/2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks with specific blackout dates and RTO policies. Note: 50-Mile Radius Rule applies; no local candidates are permitted; no RTO in the first 2 weeks; a maximum of 10 days RTO allowed for the contract.
