Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,218 per week

About the Role

MSSI is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse to join our Emergency Department in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stress environments and is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients in need.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during travel emergencies, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Assist in coordinating travel logistics, such as transportation, accommodations, and meal planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex travel-related health issues.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid West Virginia license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in travel nursing or a related field.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, and handle 36 hours per week.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Travel Nursing program or equivalent experience.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or related emergency care specialties.
• Current CPR certification preferred, with willingness to pursue ongoing education.
