About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients
- Perform trauma and critical care procedures
- Document patient care using Meditech
- Adhere to AIDET protocol and maintain a positive attitude
- Participate in triage and manage patient ratios of 1:4
- Flooding policy is rare and only for other staff who have been flexed home
Requirements
- No less than 2 years experience in level 2 trauma center
- Current Kansas RN license
- Preferred CEN or TCRN certification
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIH Advanced skills
Qualifications
- Experience in emergency/trauma nursing
- Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage
Skills
- Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis and triage
- Procedures performed on unit: all procedures associated with level 2 trauma center
