Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,200 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department (ED) assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position is a 13‑week travel contract beginning 10/19/2026, with 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts, flexible scheduling). MedPro is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency that provides travel nursing opportunities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand and apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
