MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota.
About the role
This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/08/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, including recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
- Understand and apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
