Schedule

36 hours per week
12-hour shifts: evenings, nights
Shift times: 7p-7a, 3p-3a, 11a-11p, FSED also available
Every third weekend required
Mid-shift schedule: as early as 10a-2230, as late as 1300-0130

Unit Specifics

Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Unit staffing: 5 RN core (10a-10p), unit secretary 21 hours/day
Equipment: Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: Rare; only if other staff have been flexed home
Patient Experience requirements: Use of AIDET, whiteboards; positive attitudes and "can do" culture

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC (CPI and CEN preferred)
