Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,162 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. This position offers a 13-week contract with a start date of 08/31/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and effectively treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to deliver urgent treatment and care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment.
• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour shifts, flexible.
