About the role
Emergency Room Nurse position in Enid, Oklahoma. This role involves managing a fast-paced emergency department environment, providing critical care, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The emergency department manages a variety of patient cases, including critical care, trauma, pediatric, psych, and urgent care patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex nursing needs, including medication titrations, arterial lines, blood transfusions, and chest tubes to promote safety and quality care
Schedule
- Evening shifts, 12 hours per day
- Rotating every other weekend
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Shift begins between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma
- ER experience of at least 3 years
- Graduation from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- BSN degree (highly desired)
- Cerner EHR experience
- Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS
