Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,119 per week

Travel nursing assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED). Assignment starts 08/24/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to deliver urgent treatment and care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
