Requirements & Expectations

• Active, unrestricted Kentucky RN license (or compact state license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required; BSN preferred
• No prior experience strictly required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, risk identification, and data collection
• Execute patient care therapies, administer treatments, and document ongoing responses per hospital policy
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain patient safety and communicate clearly with staff and patients
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
