Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,110 per week
Job Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Room (ER) is available at a facility located in Lewiston, Maine. The position involves working in a Level 2 trauma center that provides comprehensive emergency services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Location: Lewiston, ME
- Shift: Nights, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Nursing license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BCLS/BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Experience with ventilated patients
- Experience with pediatric patients (approx. 5%)
- Experience in a non-trauma emergency department setting
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
Additional Information
- The ER is a Level 2 trauma center with four critical care bays, equipped with ultrasound, bladder scanner, neuro telecommunication system, and Care Aware handheld devices.
- The electronic health records (EHR) system includes Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR.
- This role involves float requirements, with travelers required to float to emergency department holding areas.

Pay Package
