Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity in Grand Island, Nebraska. The position involves night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, providing acute care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care in a fast-paced emergency department.
- Adhere to facility call-off and cancellation policies.
- Comply with charting standards using the EPIC system.
- Disclose prior employment at the facility, if applicable, with an end date at least 12 months before submission.
- Float rotation may be required.
Requirements
- Licensure to submit.
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA or ARC), Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
- Location in Nebraska.
- Education requirements as appropriate for licensure and certification.
- Non-billable orientation hours of 12 (do not count toward guaranteed hours).
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 08/24/2026.
- 12-hour night shifts.
- Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Client may call off or cancel shifts up to 48 hours per 13 weeks.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
