About the role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Laveen Village, Arizona. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care across multiple satellite ER locations, requiring flexibility to float between sites such as Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Float between various satellite ER locations as assigned
- Perform sterile procedures including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Participate in orientation-specific tasks such as lifts, restraints, and wound care education
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (up to two attempts allowed)
- Pass/fail simulation lab on Day 1 of orientation covering required skills
Schedule
- Evening shifts
- 12 hours per shift
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- Schedule communicated in advance
