About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) on a travel assignment.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
Requirements
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility
- Must not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Experience
- Required: 2+ years
Certifications
- Required:
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Current TNCC certification
- Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area
