Responsibilities

• Provide rapid response nursing care in an emergency department setting
• Assist providers with various ED procedures such as IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, and NG tube insertion
• Monitor and operate cardiac/vital sign monitors and respiratory equipment
• Document patient care using Meditech system
• Support patient education and communicate effectively with team using AIDET, SBAR, and narration of care
