Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,065 per week
Job Summary
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse position is based in Mauston, Wisconsin. The role involves coordinating nursing care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. The nurse will perform all aspects of direct patient care, including assessments, triage, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver efficient and high-quality care.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred
Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Emergency Room nursing
Additional certifications such as ATCN preferred

Perform age-appropriate assessments
Triage according to the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) five-level triage process
Monitor life support and technical equipment
Respond to emergency situations in a calm, efficient manner
Participate in educational activities for pre-hospital emergency providers and students
Maintain equipment and supplies
Complete all documentation accurately using computerized systems
Adhere to legal and legislative standards, including patient consent and transfer protocols
