• Provides care to groups and individuals based on principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on the model of care for TCH.
• Maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
• Adheres to ANA code of ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Works in a culturally based and age-specific manner.
• Communicates effectively with peers and maintains confidentiality.
• Accepts and implements change and works in a culturally diverse setting.

Unit Description

ED Main:

• Specializing in adult cardiac care and complex internal medicine.
• Includes experienced and trusted emergency care specialists such as board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, and social workers.
• Hospital: Christ Hospital
• Nursing Staff: All-RN
• Environment: Fast-paced
