About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Emergency Department care for a travel nursing assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a 16-bed ED unit
- Maintain patient ratio of 4:1 (variable)
- Perform critical care assessment and management
- Execute IV skills and cardiac monitoring
- Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- No call and no floating required
Requirements
- 1+ year of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start, provided on site)
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR (FirstNet)
- Travelers must show proof of residence greater than 50 miles from facility
- Must not have worked as permanent staff for CHS within the last 12 months
Schedule
- 13-week duration
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
