Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,020 per week

About the role

Emergency Room Nurse position providing high-quality emergency care in a busy ER setting with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including holiday coverage, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Holiday work required unless the unit is closed (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience
• Active Iowa or multistate nursing license
• EPIC EMR experience
• Active PALS, TNCC, and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (may be obtained during onboarding)
• Emergency experience must be recent; a travel contract within the last 18 months is necessary
• Valid driver's license
• Professional references within 24 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and in-hand certifications
• Current or recent travel ER experience within previous 18 months
• Certified in de-escalation (CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA)

Additional compensation

• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum
• On Call: $9/hour
• Charge / Precept: $6/hour
