Requirements
- Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission
- ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required
- 3 years of Emergency Department experience required or at least 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience
- Acute care experience supporting behavioral health units preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a 54-bed Emergency Department
- Support two locked Behavioral Health units within the ED, with patient ratios of 1:4-6 and 1:6 for the locked units
- Support rapid evaluation units for urgent and critical care needs, including behavioral health support
- Care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy emergency setting
- Chart using Cerner, with FirstNet and Launch systems while adhering to hospital protocols
