Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,980 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Lansing, Michigan. This is a 14‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care for emergency department patients using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience (preferably in emergency department).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds (patient lifts may require up to 50 pounds).
• Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
