TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department for a position in Duluth, Georgia. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide care for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent, and emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history.
• Check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced setting.
• Relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (additional certifications may be required before assignment).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
