About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Lodi, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising assigned nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure patient care in a safe and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Develops and implements care plans, coordinating with other disciplines.
- Evaluates patient progress toward attaining outcomes.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Provides health information and education to patients, families, and team members.
- Participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Delegates tasks and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience in emergency room or trauma care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using Cerner/Launch Point and Alaris Pumps.

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.
Facility: Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, a 190-bed hospital with a 30-bed ED unit, located in the heart of San Joaquin County. The facility is known for its small-town charm and proximity to major metropolitan areas, vineyards, and local attractions.
