Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring emergency attention due to illness or trauma.
• Perform a focused assessment of each patient and triage them appropriately.
• Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• At least one year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in emergency department setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of emergency room procedures and protocols.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, nights.
