Travel ER RN jobs at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in Kingwood, TX place you in a 451-bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The facility offers advanced emergency care and a wide range of specialty services. Kingwood is located about 25 miles northeast of downtown Houston, home to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and other attractions.
Kingwood is a 14,000-acre community heavily wooded with tall pine trees and fragrant magnolias, featuring abundant natural wildlife. The area offers recreational activities such as golf at Deerwood Club or Kingwood Country Club.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center
- Utilize strong triage skills in a fast-paced emergency department
- Work with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact state
- At least 1 year of recent emergency room experience
- Current TNCC certification
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of start)
- No more than 90 days gap in work history within the last year
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR systems
