Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,849 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a hospital contract in Randallstown, Maryland.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to provide expert nursing care in a busy Emergency Department, including support for behavioral health units and floating between urgent care and critical care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Support two locked Behavioral Health units in the ED with 1:6 patient ratios, including patient management with security team presence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient evaluation and treatment planning.
• Complete required annual stroke continuing education and assessments; support stroke and STEMI patient transfer protocols.
• Support urgent care with rapid evaluation units and float between main ED and behavioral health units.
• Chart using Cerner, FirstNet, and Launch systems.
• Be available for weekend shifts (every other weekend) and holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required.
• 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; may consider 2 years at a Level I or Level II trauma center.

Pay

Pay range: $1,957.00 - $2,054.85 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:30.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks, starting 09/14/2026.
