Job Summary
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing acute care and emergency services in a small rural Critical Access Hospital.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule begins on 07/22/2026 with a 7 on, 7 off rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience working confidently in emergency room and acute care settings, including triage
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
Additional Information
- The facility is a small rural Critical Access Hospital with low patient census (1-2 inpatients, 1-2 ER patients per shift).
- Orientation will occur on 07/16, 07/17, and 07/18.
- The RN will oversee care in both emergency and long-term care, including rounds and nocturnal toileting assistance.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
