Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,812 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This travel nursing opportunity is in a hospital setting, focusing on emergency care during night shifts. The role requires a commitment of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks, with 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients, managing acute medical conditions including trauma, respiratory issues, and neurological emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and Pyxis medication systems.
• Monitor and perform procedures such as IV placement, arterial line management, and patient sedation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Two clinical references, including at least one leadership reference from the last year.
• Ability to commit to 4 shifts per month and meet all onboarding deadlines.
• Not actively pursuing other permanent or travel positions that would interfere with this assignment.
• One-year separation period from previous employment in the same facility.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Pay

Pay range: $1,917.40 - $2,013.27 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
