Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,735 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Gadsden, Alabama. Provide critical care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process to ensure safe and effective patient care. Requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Start date: 10/19/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership.
• Supervise assigned personnel and ensure shift accountability.
• Maintain clinical competence in a fast-paced ER setting.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Alabama (no hits; ensure licensure is current).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• 1‑2 years recent Emergency Department experience.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Submission must include home address and SSN.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Previous ER experience highly desirable.

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Minimum 36 hours per week.
