About the role
Emergency Department (ED) RN for travel nursing assignments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, triage, and deliver patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform medical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and assist with patient assessments.
- Document medical histories, check allergies, monitor vital signs, and advise patients and families on illnesses and injuries.
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment, and report suspected abuse.
- Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, and support long-term care planning.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC certifications (additional certifications may be required).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work effectively under stress.
- Skilled in caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
