Travel Nurse RN - ECMO ICU - $2,644 per week

Specialty: ECMO ICU. Discipline: RN. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment type: Travel. Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is a leading provider of traveling healthcare professionals nationwide, specializing in the placement of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Allied Health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage VA and VV ECMO for neonatal and pediatric patients with cardiac and non‑cardiac conditions using the Cardiohelp system.
• When no patient requires ECMO pump coverage, function as a bedside RN in the cardiac ICU, PICU, or NICU based on unit needs.
• Float among the cardiac ICU, PICU, and NICU as required, with every third weekend required.
• Participate in ECMO team drills and ongoing equipment education.
• Maintain a bedside nurse ratio of 1:2.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Cardiohelp system experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Comfortable with ECMO management, ventilators, arterial and central lines, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• First‑time travelers are accepted.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Eligibility: candidates must reside outside a 100‑mile radius of the facility; former permanent employees are not eligible to return as travelers.
