About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Director of Nursing for a position at Grape Tree Medical Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of nursing operations including patient care, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff through ongoing training and supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license in good standing.
- At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing director role.
- Experience managing a team of nurses and ancillary staff.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 8 hours, days
